Kelsey Boghean, MD

Medical Doctor

Dr. Kelsey Boghean grew up in Evergreen, Colorado. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in both International Studies and Biological Sciences at University of Denver. After graduating, she worked in global health where she witnessed how providing equitable healthcare to pregnant people, children, and other historically marginalized communities creates positive ripple effects that strengthen entire communities. She went on to complete her medical degree at Rocky Vista University, where she created a series on Trauma-Informed Care and participated in global health projects in Kenya and Peru. Dr. Boghean completed residency at Jefferson Health New Jersey outside of Philadelphia and served as chief resident.

Dr. Boghean was drawn to Ob/Gyn because of the opportunity to provide compassionate support and care across a lifetime and being able to partner with patients throughout their health journey. Dr. Boghean is dedicated to utilizing evidence-based medicine to provide trauma-informed, patient-centered care that honors each individual’s experiences, identity, and autonomy. She enjoys many aspects of obstetric and gynecologic care, with particular interests in abnormal uterine bleeding, family planning, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, trying to recreate Great British Bake Off bakes, learning languages, and watching rugby and soccer (Go Spurs!).
