Dr. Kaitlin Mar is originally from Wichita, Kansas. She completed her Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. She obtained her Medical Degree from Saint Louis University in Missouri where she discovered her passion for women’s health when volunteering on the executive committee for the School of Medicine’s free clinic. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at TriHealth in Cincinnati, Ohio. During her time there, she received three awards for her surgical skills from the American Association Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Society of Laparoscopists & Robotic Surgeons, and Society of Gynecologic Oncology. Now, she could not be happier to finally be living in the beautiful state of Colorado.
Dr. Mar prioritizes providing comprehensive care to all of her patients, no matter their stage of life. Her goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship with her patients where they feel heard, educated, and empowered to make decisions about any health challenges they may be facing. She has particular interests in contraception, abnormal periods, chronic pelvic pain, including conditions like uterine fibroids and endometriosis, bladder issues, and high-risk obstetrics in patients with pre-existing medical conditions. She believes in an evidence-based holistic approach to health, including surgical treatment with a special passion in minimally-invasive robotic surgery.
When not at work, Dr. Mar enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. She lives in Denver with her husband and her dog, Lenny.
